    Just bought a sailboat with an Evinrude SailDrive in it. This is basically an outboard engine modified to be an inboard, mounted thru the hull bottom. Evinrude made them in the 80's just for sailboats. Neat idea but the engine needs work. I'm looking for an info source or to buy a shop manual...

    I bought a sailboat with an Evinrude SailDrive engine that needs work. This is basically an outboard modified to act as an inboard. I think the yr of mfg is 1984. Does anyone know where I can get a shop manual? The books I've found off the shelf don't cover this model. Thanx.
