I want to change the thru hull fittings for the livewell water inlets to flow rite
brand with the snap in strainers.
The holes in the transom with the fittings removed look like 1 inch ID to me.
The fittings flow rite sells are 3/4 or 1-1/8.
Not sure what I need but I believe 3/4 like this...
84 150 with the control box that has a trim switch and trailer button.
For some reason the engine will no longer trim up at all from any position by

I also want to change the livewell areator pump thru hull inlet fittings to
Flow Rite brand with snap in strainers.
My question is what type silicone or sealant to use to seal everything back up.

I have an 84 Ranger 350v with an 83 mercury 2.0 liter 150.
I currently run a 13-3/4 diameter 26 pitch laser II.
Hole shot is slow but top end is great, 5400 wot.
I have a 14-1/4 diameter 24 pitch michigan wheel Rapture available to try.
Anybody have any experience on how this prop will perform...
I have rebuilt the carburetors but am not sure about
the routing of the fuel hoses. Mainly the small lines to the carbs and the enrichener.
Anybody have a diagram or can describe the hose routing?

I have an 83 150 with the wh-27 carbs.
Fuel is pouring from the bottom carb.
I have on order new needles and seats but of course these carbs have the foam floats.
Any way to check these floats to see if they're ok before assembly?
Replacements are not available that I can tell.
I also have an 84...
