    Where is it-thought it was in rear but believe that area was only an outlet for flushing the motor. I have been told that if the poppet valve is bad there will be leakage around it. Is this true? ? Only leakage I have is around flush inlet to motor. I do have some heating issues (200 f) when...

    2001 merc 200hp efi-removing lower cowling

    Need to replace poppet valve (sic) on 2001 yr 200 hp merc. Must remove lower cowling but i can only see two screws to remove housing. That appears to easy. What must be done to remove lower housing. Thanks, Bayfun I Have my question answered. Thank you for checking.
