    I am trying to hook up the tack in my boat, my problem is that the old style merc control doesn't have the tack hook up so I just want to splice into the wires in side control box off key switch.Problem is ,was told this is a 1968 model but my book shows motors with 2 coils is 1965-66. 67-69...

    need right prop for boat?

    I have a 1972 15' grew with a 1966 95hp merc,any idea what prop would work best on this boat. Came with a 2 blade, does about 43 mph but no bottom end,gutless out of the hole, Should I go for a 3 or 4 blade prop and what pitch. thanks Bryan

    carb problem???

    Recently bought a 1966 95hp merc and it came with 2 prop's, One is a 3 blade white prop and the other is a black 2 blade prop.Which one most likely came on this motor and what are the main differences between a 2 and 3 blade prop.
