    DRIVE SHAFT BENT!

    I can't seem to get the drive shaft out of the lower unit. I must be doing something wrong. I have a Chrysler 140hp. I thought it would slide right out. What holds it in place? <br /><br />Thanks a million! :confused:

    motor jerks boat when throttle is half speed or higher

    I was just told it is a 1980 chrysler 140hp outboard. When my throttle is half speed or higher it jerks every couple of seconds. The consistency is more at a higher rpm.<br />I have no clue and very new to boating.<br />Any help is greatly appreciated!
