I have a 20’ Funliner with an aftermarket wakeboard tower. I would like to keep it but the boat didn’t come with a Bimini top and I’m not sure if a Bimini top inand I’m not sure if a Bimini top will fit over the wakeboard tower.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
My son and I just got this boat last summer and changed the engine oil and stern drive oil (and impeller). We took it out for an hour or two probably once or twice a week for the whole summer. With an engine this old should be change the engine and stern oil every year? Or just the engine oil...
The photo was after it ran for about 15 minutes. We were trying to recreate the situation we are seeing on the lake. It started just fine after we turned it off. I sprayed it with carb cleaner and this is what it looked like afterwards
This is what the carburetor looked like after it ran for a while. Do you know if those droplets are supposed to be there? If not, is the only fix a new/rebuilt carburetor?
I have a 1988 boat with a 4.3L Mercruser. It will start just fine when it is cold. After it runs for a while we sometimes turn it off and it won’t immediately re-start. It will crank and turn over, it just won’t fire up. Then if we let it sit for a while, 15 minutes or so, it will start again...
I just bought a boat with an Alpha one Gen 1 I/O. I only see 3 grease nipples around the outboard section. Is that right or am I missing some? I searched diagrams that might show all their locations but didn’t have much luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
