I am repowering a WA going from OMC/Johnson 225 to Mercury.
I have a guage that just says TEMP(See attached Photo).
Excuse my ignorance, but does this guage measure Water or Engine temp?
If water I know I can hook it up to the tan wire on the control harness.
If engine temp can this...
I am repowering with a 2004 Mercury EFI 225 from a 1989 Johnson OMC.
I have rewired and am now addressing the tachometer.
It has a 1 - 6 selector.
I have order the 5 pin harness.
