I repowered my Wellcraft with a Yamaha 115 and I am have trouble with getting out of the hole and it porpoises on me at about 20 mph. We added a jack plate to accommodate the 25" shaft on the motor. Any suggestions? Raise the engine ? Lower the engine? I need help
I was wondering if I can use a 25" shaft in place of a 20". I am repowering with a Yamaha 115 four stroke. I now have a Johnson 112 on the boat. I have an 18" transom but have 25" down to the drain plug. What are my options?
I am looking at purchasing a 1990 Grady White with a Johnson V6 200. The power head was replaced a year ago. The boat is in great shape but I am worried about the engine and know little about the V6. What do you think?
