The trim on my 100 hp Mercury outboard does not move in the down position. I am told the relay may not be working. Where is this located and what does it look like? This is a one cylinder type trim.
When I tried to startup my 1988 100 hp Mercury outboard this year the electric trim would move the engine up but not down. After a few trys it ended up in the full up position. When I activate the down switch I hear a click but it does not move....Anybody have an idea where to start in trouble...
I have a 1988 100 hp Mercury. When the key is turned on the starter turns sending the small gear up to engage the fly wheel but it does not go high enough to connect to the fly wheel. What is the problem?:)
