    can u put a good prop on 1978 johnson 25 hp and if so where good place to buy it?

    it the kind that has pin to hold prop on and cover that screws down with another pin.

    25 hp johnson 1978 model how can u tell if run hot?

    First motor and i put it in 55 gallon drum water and run about hour trying to get it take wot now i clean carb and it will run wot but at low idle it has gurk in it and sometimes cuts off.Do u think i hurt motor or is it points?
