    after market shift cable

    hello all, hope this is in the right area, i have a 1976 merc 200 20 hp tiller and was woundering if there is some kind of an after market shifting cable and brackets that would attach to the tiller handle that would allow you to shift with out turning around and grab the shift handle, thanks.

    does a 76 20 hp merc have points, if so what would be the right gap and also i found the lower units drain but do you fill it from the vent screw, thanks

    just purchased a merc 200 ser# 4353432 todayfor 3oo.oo, the guy said it was 1989 but i cant find this seral number on any list, the prop is a 2 blade 11p a1 any recommendations on a 3 blade and what would the fuel mix be, thanks

    1956 15 hp throttle cam

    i have a 1956 evenrude 15 hp, it runs fairley well on a 14 ft aluminum boat but wont plane out, i have replaced coils points carb & plugs, old points were set at .4 ran like a dog, set new points at .20, runs better but still kinda plowes, i was watching the throttle roller move along the cam...
