I have an 85 40 horse evinrude that i was able to get running with help from this web site. recently bought a tube and while tubing noticed water coming out of the exhaust port on the back of the motor. spits a little at low speeds and pours out at wide open. is this normal? I drained the gear...
my 85 40 hp evinrude needs new vro pump heard i could disconnect and mix my fuel. what exactly do i need to do to do this? do i need to disconnect the warning signal? should i cut the red wire or the blue ? thanks in advance for your help.
i got an 1985 40 hp evinrude that starts hard will run then wont start again till much later. talked briefly to a boat dealer his comment was that "it was bleeding out". what does that mean? just ordered a manual . what should i be focusing on the carbs? any help would be greatly appreciated.
