    If I put my hand over the carburator it fires right up. If you don't hand choke it it will not start. Any ideas on how to make the choke work.

    I have a quicksilver throttle gearshift that has a switch underneath the key. What is this for? Is it supposed to be on or off. This is for a 95 Force mercury motor.
