Having some issues with this kicker motor. Took the boat out and the motor was very hard to start. Only wants to run with the choke 1/2 on. Intermittent problems with idle speeding way up, or slowing way down. Took the carb off, it had some junk in it. Now when I can get it to start gas runs out...
Does anyone have a picture of the vessel view module installed on a 40 hp? I have a brand new outboard, and I'm just trying to see how someone else mounted that module. I watched a couple vidros, but they were all bigger motors, and none of them have the same mounting areas as my motor.
I have an 83 evinrude 25 h.p. It doesn't have a knob on the low speed idle screw, and it's a discontinued item. I'm just curious if anyone has successfully replaced it with some generic knob and where you found it, or what you used.
