    no spark / no reply

    after going back thru a few pages to see if there were any similar problems being had by others (no spark in a 1975 40 merc) I noticed that there were others that got no reply. Does this mean I've got a big problem that even the ones that know, don't know? Thanks for any help, Blain

    my motor would only run on one cylinder so I checked the plugs for spark. the bottom one had no spark so I traded plugs around and found that it was a bad plug(I could get spark with one plug in both wires and none in either with the other plug) Easy I thought, just get new plugs, so I did.
