Have 2005 mercury .90h.p.a marine shop just took the oil tank off my 90 h.p mercury.to delete the automatic oiler.and unhooked the pump from throttle.my question is .is this the correct way.and if this will create any problem.i know I have to add oil when I put gas in it.
Have 2005 mercury 90 elptpo. Had new water pump put in. Went to lake. Pulled out wiping motor off. Seen discoloring on lower unit. Put boat bk in water started it. See water and exhaust coming out between lower unit and upper unit. Repair shop says that's normal. Told them u put new lower unit...
My voltage regulator rectifier.2005 mercury 90 elptpo 2 stroke.voltage regulator rectifier.wires are burnt melted.tach jumps and voltage gauge jumps.run after starting.has miss.repairvshop spliced wires said all good.but now wires have melted again.where doni start to check what is causing this.thks
