    Shifter linkage...

    Well got the 1988 Johnson VRO 40hp. When the guy I got it from was taking the control cables off I guess the linkage slid sideways and now its like the little arm isn't connected to anything so wont shift into gear... Any ideas? I almost think the screw came out if there is one and I cant figure...

    2 stroke outboard

    Saw a new one today. So ive worked on a lot of older outboards but have never seen a 2 stroke where the oil has its own gas jug not mixed with the gas.... Why? The Johnson ill be picking up takes a separate container for the oil. Im assuming this means I cant pre mix the gas correct?

    30hp trouble shoot

    I have a 1985 Suzuki 30 hp outboard on my 16'center console. When crusing at 80-100% throttle and going into a banking turn it slips out of gear. I was told the only reason it would do this is a work clutch dog? Anyone know what that it and where I can get that part?

    Correct way to coat/seal a wooden boat?

    Ive been trying to read up on the proper way to seal a wooden boat. I keep seeing like fiberglass cloth being layed down and then west systems 105 epoxy layered over it in a decently thick coating. Is this how a lot of people do it? They then sand smooth and paint it.
