    Upgrading Control Box?

    Is there anyway I can change control box,mine is (part #)16900A15 to a newer one (part #)881170A13 with 14 pin-plug,the motor I have is a 2001 4 stroke 90 hp ELPT mercury ,my motor is in storage and I don't know if the 16900A15 has 14 pins or not? THANKS BLUEMAX11:confused:

    control box 2001 mer.90 hp.

    Does anyone if I can replace a 16900A15 control box with a 881170A13 w/14 pin -plug and if so would I need anything,I don't how many pins are on the16900A15? Thanks bluemax11
