My engine ( ns90a ) cavitation plate sets about 6" below the transom .
The transom seems to be the same depth in the water just setting and moving.
Im running 4000 rpm wot.
will raising the motor 6" higher on the transom give me the extra rpm I need at wot?
I have a 35hp engine on a small boat that i start with pull cord because the starter has been removed.My question is can I use a small motor cycle battery on the motor since the starter is no longer used and there is no electronics used on the boat.
