i have 14 ft aluminum boat. i just put in a new transom board. i'm very sure that i tightened the clamps down tight enough.
last weekend my motor jumped off the transom. luckly i was able to hold on to the tiller handle & keep my motor. i didnt bottom the motor out or hit it on any thing...
