    Johnson Seahorse Crankcase Sealant

    Does anyone know what type of sealant to use between crankcase halves on a '57 Johnson Seahorse 18 hp? When i took it apart there was no gasket or any residue that would indicate RTV was used. Any help would be appreciated

    Johnson pressure tank question

    Hello, i was wondering if anyone knew any way to make a 2 line pressure tank able to connect directly to a fuel line without the connector. I dont have a connector and they cost like $80 for 1. The fuel tank has 3 barbs on it. Any help would be appreciated.

    Do i need to chamfer ports after honing?

    I was wondering if i needed to chamfer the ports on my '57 johnson after honing. I didn't oversize the bore i just honed it to get a crosshatch and to put new rings on it. It was seized up for a long time and i just recently pulled the piwerhead appart. Any help would be appreciated

    Old evinrude

    I have an old evinrude that i recently picked up. The owner said it was a 1946. Model is 4404. Can anyone tell me what year it is and what fuel oil mix it is? Also if you can think of anything else that might be helpful let me know. Thanks
