I have a 1989 evenrude 175 xp. I have had carbs rebuilt,all new electronics. Stator, power pack, coils, timing trigger, rebuilt flywheel with new magnets. New spark plugs and wires. The last things were the flywheel timing trigger and stator.
When cold it will start and idle around 11hundred...
I have a 1989 vision 180 bass boat with an Evenrude 175. When I bought the boat there was a hot wire and three ground wires connected to the trolling motor batteries which is a 24 volt system. The tachometer and the charging system to the cranking battery were not working.
