    in the 80s 35 hp evenrude carb problems

    Have 35 hp , motor idles fine and reves up fine in neutral. Put motor un gear and take off , motor then bogs down ,place finger over carp port as if choking it, motor will then speed up and run. Any suggestions.

    2003 225 ox 66 wont idle (PLEASE HELP)

    Rolled boat in surf, Did everything needed to save motor, just cant get it to idle. Runs for about 20 seconds ,loses fuel pressure then dies.Runs fine at high RPM.

    Rolled boat in surf , flushed and did everything possible to save motor, ran motor for about two hrs , Just cant get motor to idle, Cranks and runs for about 20 seconds , loses fuel pressure than dies.
