    what in the world is this part called ?

    I have a cabin cruiser and there is a missing window/ skylight over the door that is removable. well somone has removed it and its gone. what would I search for to find a replacment, my cabin is getting wet from the big hole over the door. Thanks

    what consist of changing manifold choke to electric?

    I'm replacing my carb on my merc 228. do I have to do anything to change to electric choke ? and what are the wires that run to a switch on my throttle control? I'm replacing my shifter and wandering if I need to replace those wires and switch on the control

    what should I do about my carb?

    I have a 1980 merc 228 , It runs great out on the water but when it warms up it wont idle. As long as I am above idle speed it doesnt hesitate , miss, or sputter. It has not ran hot or anything like that. I am thinking about pulling the carb and cleaning it, or running some cleaner through it...

    rear engine mount question..

    Ok I am installing my motor (merc 228) onto a alpha one. I have the motor on the mounts and the bolts in the rear mounts (closest to the transom). I am trying to tighten the bolts and they feel like there just turning and turning. The manual says nothing about a nut or anything under the mount...

    which hole does my cable go thru??

    I'm putting my transplate and bell housing on my boat. I feel so stupid , but I don't remember which holes in the inner transplate the trim hoses and the shift cable go through. if Somone could tell me or point me to a layout , that would be great. thank you in advance.

    Ok , im trying to replace my transom plate and gimbal housing. well , i got the motor out, now im trying to get the y pipe off. I took out four bolts (alpha 1, merc 228) and it will not budge. I am just making sure im not missing anything before I start putting some force behind this thing...
