We have a 1993 Yamaha 85 HP motor and we changed the impeller and put it back together and we have no reverse. When we put it in reverse, it goes forward. Took it back apart and made sure it was in neutral and put it back together and it still only goes into forward. Any ideas???? Thank you.
Have replaced tilt and trim motor but will only tilt up not down. Reversed wires then would trim down but not up. Not sure what the part name is that we need to order that would fix the problem. Can anyone help with the name of the part?
Question---What is the easiest way to remove a tilt and trim motor from a 1993 85 HP yamaha motor? We can not get the screw out of the back corner. Thank you.
We have a 1993 Yamaha 85hp and the tilt and trim is not working. When you push the button to get it to go up and down, it clicks but the motor will not move. We have power to the green wire but not the blue one. Can anyone help?
