just rebuilt this boat from transom to bow when it came to electrical
connections used dielectric grease and where wires were spliced
used solder connecters with heat shrink didn't have any problems until
starter went out really appreciate your time helping me
volvo penta started to checked the fifty amp fuses also checked power going to dash fuses good and nothing even to dash even the house battery
that run lights ect. nothing just replaced starter
1985 volvo penta 5.0 no electrical systems working ( ignition blower and cabin lights)
Had the breaker on engine pop reset and started was shot replaced starter it started to
turn over and everything went dead do have power to starter
