Re: 93 Yamaha 70hp Wiring
Well thanks for the info rodbolt but I have a couple wires in the picture I want to show you. on CDI Yellow / red, Gray/blue and that little rubber Relay?
White coming from harness and pink from harness.
In the picture the white from harness is going to yellow/red...
I know no one post a wiring diagram but I just put the power head back on a motor and I have alittle confusion with the CDI wiring to the harness.
I have a white/red and a White blue coming off the CDI unit and I have a pink and white coming off the harness.
Can someone tell me where how these...
I rebuilt all 3 carbs with a serria rebiuld kit and the motor idles fine but once under a load the motor has trouble accelerating and also will die our when you come off the throttle. I notice if I trim all the way down the motor runs real rough but if I trim it half way it will idle and run...
My trim and tilt is acting up. My motor is tilting up fine but will not trim down. The pump runs and I can hear the relay click but it will not go down. I had to manually lower it and then it rasises fine with the motor.
Can anyone give me a idea where to start. Electrical or mechanical?
Can someone send me the wiring diagram for a 1987 90hp. I have wire with no connectors and I am trying to figure out where they go. Many coming from the trim tilt motor and the oil container side. Red/white Blue/white?

Could someone tell me what I am in for if I buy this motor?
And what it would take to fix it so I would have a normal reliable running engine with normal compression.
I just repower my 25' center console with a left over pair of DT 150's and got the full 3 year warranty. The both are Right Handed. Could any tell me what problems they fore see me having with having a counter rotating engine.
I will let you know what I have found out by running these motors...
