I have the chance to trade my standard shaft 1983 15hp Johnson for a 1999 25hp Johnson Long shaft. Will a long shaft outboard work on a 13' inflatable??? The boat is a Nissan nx126 with inflatable keel. Boat will take up to a 35hp, but nothing about shaft length. Thanks in advance! -=B=-
The title is slightly confusing, sorry. The pull cord will pull and retract as it should, but there will be no resistance and the motor will not turn over. I guess the dogs in the pull start assembly will not engage, hence the lack of resistance. Should I simply pull the pull-start assembly...
