    Johnson 1977 115 hp no spark 1 and 3 cylinder

    No spark on 1 and 3, good spark on 2 and 4. Changed all plugs, changed 1 and 3 coils, changed power pack, changed timer base and sensors, did not change stator. Tried to start again with same results, no spark on 1 and 3. Does anybody have any ideas on what my problem may be? Thank you.

    2 1971 OMC 125 HP outboards, Different pulse packs and plug ins

    Johnson 125ESL71C and Evinrude 125183C. Both motors call for 0384522 pulse pack. Johnson has the right 5 prong plug, for wabash pack, Evinrude has a 3 prong plug for a prestolite, how can I use the 0384522 5 prong on the Evinrude. Thanks for any help.

    1972 chrysler 55 hp no power to points

    In the wire connecting block I Have power in the red terminal and the 2 point wires are connected to white and blue terminals and no power at the points with ignition on. Could anybody tell me if 2 wires leading to points are in wrong position? 1972 555HD

    1971 johnson 125 water shooting out of hole in front of lower unit

    Had it running in a tank and as water got lower I noticed water shooting out of a small hole where lower unit meets exhaust housing in front of lower unit. Is this normal?

    no needle valve bearings on 1971 125 johnson

    Doing a carb rebuild on a 1971 125 johnson. When i removed the needle valves I noticed there were no plastic needle valve bearings at the tip of the needle valves. Is it possible they are still stuck in the seating area of the carb or is it possible that they were not used . carb schematic only...

    seal between motor and exhaust housing 1977 25 hp johnson

    Could anybody tell me about the sealing material between motor and exhaust housing on 77-25 johnson. Thought is was a blown out base gasket but after dissassembly found it to be a sealing material not listed on schematic directly outside of the base gasket. Can it be eliminated?

    Does anybody know the paint color of a 1974 johnson 85 HP outboard? Looks like a goldish green, more goldish on the powerhead.

    1974 85 hp johnson and 1975 70 johnson coil interchange

    have a 1974 85 hp v4 parts motor with new coils and a 1975 70 hp 3 cyl with cracked coils, except for the longer spark plug wire they seem identical, they mount up fine, does anybody know if they have the same output and would be ok to use?

    johnson 125 1971 port to starboard temp

    Is it common for a 1971- 125 to run hotter to touch on the starboard side? Seems to be the same with or without thermostat. Or may i be looking at some blockage? Thanks for any help.
