I have an evinrude 20hp with serial no
804ac95578
there may be a number before the first 8 but it has been obliterated by a punch in fact it is possible the first 8 is a 3.
any body any idea of age so I can get a manual.

I have just purchased on old 20hp mariner 2 stroke outboard and having great difficulty finding a manual as I dont know how old it is.
The serial number is on a plate on the shaft no 804AC95578, all of the sites I have tried only have 8 digits. I beleive this may have been made or sold in...
