    New trigger installed, collar on dist won't turn any further to open carbs.

    Installed new trigger-very careful to follow directions from CDI. Trying to make all adjustments- timing and sync carbs, however, at the point of setting throttle stop, the "collar" of distributor won't turn any further to engage the second throttle pickup. Could I have installed somthing...

    73 1150 bad rectifier cause no spark condition?

    rectifier test, clymer manual, indicates rectifier bad. Could this be cause of no spark, no start? Been through a bunch of troubleshooting and started to suspect coil, sparks only on switching key on/off. Would spring for a new rectifier if I thought this could be cause. Thanks B
