The transom is solid as it was redone. I am wondering about the stringer(s) etc but I will probably wait until next year before really diving into that. I think I will focus on the motor. Impeller, carb kit, spark plugs, and new gas and see what else is needed after doing these things.
After looking at the older Lund brochures, this boat was only offered in console steering. At some point someone must have converted it to tiller. I can't really see that the console itself added any strength but maybe the modifying/deleting the seats may have. Not sure what I will do to replace...
I bought a Lund 315. I have not owned a boat for 40+ years. The motor has not run since 2016. I'm guessing I'll need to rebuild the carb. Should I try it before replacing the water pump impeller?
