1) Is there supposed to be rust by carburetor? There was water in the top of the manifold by carburetor and carb was filled with water.
drain plug left in and sunk on land? tarp failure ?
It was working correctly on hose 3 days ago but who knows. haha
Should never operate on a hose, only in the water with a load on the prop.
Operating on land means you need a lower shift cable
What are the first 3 lette
rs of the word "ASSume"
The main battery cable is direct to the starter, no fuse there.
The 90a white plastic fuse was supposed to only protect the alt but they added the main system to it. When it blows you lose the alt and main system feed.
I remove the red system...
Everything seemed to go together by the directions and when I put the shift lever in forward gear, the prop locks in the ccw direction
That is correct for fwd gear. the reverse may just need adjusting
with the gear driven cam ,to need a standard dist for clockwise dist rotation, firing order is clockwise from number 1 .
I find it a lot easier to remember to use 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 in a CCW rotation on the cap instead of 1,2,7,5,6,3,4,8 clockwise.
all depends on the engines cam being chain driven or gear driven.
Even reverse engines use the same std rotation dist because of the oil pump. Will not pump oil if its reversed
