    '68 MQ-14D water pump

    This motor has been in storage for about 3 years...I have heard that the impeller should be changed..is this a DIY project? Or should I take it to a shop?

    Johnson water pump impeller

    I have a '68 Johnson MQ-14D and it has been in storage for about 3 years...It has been suggested that I change the waterpump Impeller...Is this a DIY repair? I know little to nothing about about outboards? Any help would be appreciated Bubba
