    Prop question?

    Prop question? I have just restored a 24' pontoon boat and powered it with a 115 Johnson off a 17' Trihull.The prop on the motor was 17 probably too much prop for such a boat. Does anyone know the average prop size for this type off boat and motor combination?

    '74 115hp Johnson

    I just bought a 1974 Johnson outboard that is in pretty good shape, but I understand that johnson pruduced a smaller bore motor somewhere in that era that cannot be rebuilt due to the availibility of the smaller pistons. Does anyone know anything about this?
