    My first experience with hydrolock

    Hey guys, I believe I hydrolocked my Mercruiser 4.3 yesterday. I pulled all the plugs and there was water in the plugs on the left side only. I just want to verify what I do next is correct. Disconnect coil and spin motor a few times, change oil and filter and replace plugs? It would make sense...

    4.3 Mercruiser won't start getting spark

    I have a 2003 4.3 Mercruiser carbureted motor with the Thunderbolt V ignition. Just had it out 2 weeks ago and it ran fine. Tried to start it this morning but it runs for about 2 seconds and shuts off. I put a timing light on the plug wires to check for spark and it seems to be producing spark...
