Im looking to paint new epoxy coated fiberglass in the center bilge area of a bass boat that I just finished replacing the stringers and transom in. Which type of paint is the best for this? Topside, Bilgekote, etc???
Is there any advantage to drilling thru the floor and pouring the foam in or just foaming between stringers before attaching the floor. Seems to me drilling holes in floor is risky due to water possibly getting into the bottom of the plywood floor because wood not being sealed where you drilled...

Im replacing the stringers and transom in a Tidecraft Bass boat and the split line from the top to the bottom hull had rivits holding them together. I believe they were aluminum ( at least they drilled out easily). What kind should I reinstall? Stainless, Monel or aluminum.:confused:
