Me as well. Home hardware here had them on sale for 119.00 so I purchased the small one. Tried it quickly the other day with the enclosure closed up on the boat. Wow. On low this will be plenty of heat for what I need.
Do ya think that whole side piece has to come off to get the rear deck off? Maybe there are screws under the side piece? But the wincreen sits on this?
Got all the screws out of the back deck. But I removed some of the screws from the side pieces but still can’t get the back deck off. Am I missing something here guys?
Good to know its been done. I like your idea of a plate for the top hand holds instead of the acorn nuts and washers I think that will hold up well.
I purchased some 3 m 4200 for all the holes every though all four per side will be above the water line.
I’m still hoping someone has taken this...
Hello everyone,
I am going to mount a swim platform on both the starboard and port side of my transom but need to know how to fasten it. In the picture of the swim platform the top of the hand grabs will catch the top lip of the transom and should be easy mounting with a few acorn nuts and...
So it looks like the general consensus is these can be used in my application with some caution and common sense.
Much appreciated for all that chimed in!
Morning everyone,
If I have my canvas on the boat that will enclose it (Bimini with all panels zipped on) can I run a buddy heater inside this while the boat is in use? Any issues with the gas tank venting or carbon monoxide?
Are you going to just wire it in series with the Johnson pump or thinking of some other installation. Curious as i have the exact same bilge and was wondering about a float switch. There is a nice aluminum plate beside the bilge that you can fasten too. You just need longer arms and more joints.
Hey everyone,
Looks like I may have found the culprit. It looks like whoever installed the lowrance fish finder cable did not use below water silicone on one screw. When I took the screw out that holds the cable to the transom water stared trickling out. I hooked up the shop vac and sucked out...
