I am installing an 86 DT-30 on my 13 FT Whaler. I just replaced the rotary steering with a Teleflex. My problem is that the Steering Linkage appears to be too short. The engine will only turn a few degrees to the right (Boat would go left). It turns fine to the left but doing it to the right...
I am looking at a 30 HP Suzuki that has a Serial Number of 03001 616892. I think it is an 86 but can't find anything to match those numbers online. Is there a good website to find that info?
My engine is a 1990 90 HP force. 300 hours on it. Always ran well. I have had a bit of work done recently, replaced stator and starter. The guy that fixed the stator told me he"fixed the throttle so that you can now give it throttle while in neutral. The manufacturer had a block on it." Anyway...
