I have a 2003 75hp mercury 4stroke with approx 100hrs on it. Last weekend I was at roughly half throttle and the block pretty much exploded. If you were standing in the boat, the hole wraps from one side of the block about 1.5 inches tall around the motor to half way up the other side...
