I have a 1989 mercury 4cylinder 115hp OC162434. I don't have the controls. I can jump it with the starter relay but I'm not getting spark. Do I need to hotwire the ignition to get spark or should it have spark already? Anybody know of an online wiring diagram for this motor?

The power trim pump is off the motor. The two bars are extended but the main cylinder is not. I touch the two wires to a battery and the motor turns on but nothing moves. I switch polarity but same thing. It appears to be full of oil. How can I be sure it works?

I put my multimeter on ohms 20k. I checked the 2 short yellow wires to one another. They are zero. The 2 longer wires are 6.2.
