I was wondering if anyone could give me some idea of typical hull scantlings of a fibreglass hull in the 40 to 50 ft range. I'm about to go look at a one-off custom built 48 ft ketch. The owner says that at the sheer the hull is 3/8th inch solid glass. At the turn of the bilge it's 1.25"...
