Can anyone tell me the procedure for timing a Yamaha 9.9? It is fairly old, probably a mid 1980's model. I find the numbers 1 & 2 stamped on the cam gear and a dot and a verticle mark on the flywheel. I tried lining up the numbers with the dot. The motor turns free but will not start. Lining up...
