I have trouble starting my 115 merc. engine, When cranking, the starter seems to stop turning. On some trys it seems to just bump the engine and not even get a full revolution of cranking. Every once in a while it stays engaged long enough to get her going.. Any thoughts or ideas? Just need a...
I just bought my 1st outboard. it's a 1988 Mercury 115 w/ an autoblend oil pump. How can I tell if it is working properly? If not working can you disconnect it and mix the oil with the gas?
