    No, wot throttle rpm stay with the motor speed,No reving higher or anything. Linkage is intact. Its a 92 bayliner 19ft. rpms wide open are around 3500-3800. Thanks

    I did a drop on the plugs. All drop the rpm down when removed.My merc 85 would get on plane right away, this anchor takes about 100 yds to just barely plane.I appreciate the reply.

    It does not have power trim on it. all i carry is a cooler 3-4 people and a tube. So i wouldn't think weight was a problem.

    I did not check the fuel pump, holds rpm at wot , Compression was 120 120 115 115, Spark was tested just jumping plugs.
