I hit a stump and bent my prop this weekend. Well it was only slightly bent so i replaced it but I think I might have bent my prop shaft. can you remove the shaft with out taking the whole out drive off? Im really mechanically inclined so is this something I can tackle or will I need special...
Just bought a used boat with a Volvo 5.8. When at idle or neutral the trim seems to work great, however when I am running across the lake at any speed the trim doesn't seem to be working. I/E the gauge wont move, but i can see the amps drop and the is no change in the stance of the boat. How come?

My Boat starts great when I first put it in the water. After running 30 minutes or more and I shut it down for a while to swim it turns over and over and over before finally starting up. AMP meter is showing a constant 13 volts while cruising, and I have two batteries. I just bought this boat...
