    compression test

    hi,i have a 1991 evinrude 115hp 4cyl 2-stroke,just wondering what the compression should be on the cylinders? motor cold and a crappy testing gauge i got 85 83 83 and 80 psi...does this sound close? and should i start and warm the engine before the comp test? thank you

    hi ,does anyone have any tips on how to staighten a fin on the bottom of a out board motor? its a 91 evinrude 115 ,i got caught in some swells in a storm and bottomed out the motor and put a pretty good bend in the fin...should i heat it up before trying to get it back in place? im scared of...
