I have changed impeller & upper & lower housings on my 1986 Mercruiser 170 hp 4 cyl. alpha 1 I/O & cannot get lower unit splines to line up with upper splines. With shift control lever in foward the foot coupling is not pointing foward but off to one side so that shift lower brass shift spline...
