Just got the motor. I have:
disables VRO
added standard 90 hp pump mounted to block
replaces all lines
cleaned carbs
checked compression 140 + :)
Motor runs and cranks good
but at WOT it revs fully then cuts out over and over until you pull the throttle back. Please help
I am disconnecting my VRO and replacing all the rubber lines. One fuel line and 2 vacuum lines run to a type of solenoid. what is it? and what direction should the orange switch be set to?
OK i just bought this motor and I am not a rocket scientist. The motor has sat for 3 years so I replaced the water pump all the hoses and dropped the VRO for a gas only pump# 0438559. I cranked it but no water is coming out. I removed the thermostat then tried to blow in the telltale. I can't...
