I have a set of controls from a late 70's V6 with a 12 pin harness. My engine is a mid 80's V6 with an 8 pin connector. Is there an easy way to adapt the two or do I need to just get another control box? Thanks, Scott.

Hoping someone here can help me out. I am not getting a consistent spark on the top cylinder. I have swapped coils, plugs, and wires and the problem remains on the same cylinder. I have also pulled the flywheel to look for anything obvious but everything looks perfect. Where should I try next?
